Lace Helps New Yorkers Beat the Heat

Hello everyone!

Well I think I forgot to write about it, but back when I was in NY for a few days (you sure remember my post Take care NY ), a nice woman calles Nikhita Venugopal from DNAinfo.com adressed me on the streets at Union Square, and asked if she could take a few photos of me wearing a floral lace tank top. I was surprised and a little bit excited too!

That’s the slideshow, Lace Helps New Yorkes Beat the Heat from DNAinfo. Mine is the 8 of 18. The other pictures I like as well.

Midway

Time flew by, february is passing by fast, and spring is coming soon. We all sense it, the warmer weather, people who wear more colourful clothes, brighter. Walking in the street, little children with their scooters, laughing young folks. Lighter jackets, more people wearing t-shirts. Birds singing gently and cats lying in the warm rays of sunshine. Sometimes a cold wind still whistles and makes you freeze, but sun is always there and warms you up afterwards.

When the days are brighter, it’s great to take photos with that natural light of the sun, but one week earlier I got an external flash attachement with diffusor for my Canon EOS 500D, so now my pictures will be lighted more softly, even without the sunlight.

These photos were taken about a week ago, when a light sheet of snow still covered up our ways.
